Tidaflag AB in Tidaholm, Sweden, originates from Tidaplast AB, founded in 1980. Its history goes back to the late 1950´s when Bofors, the well known Swedish ordnance company, started production of glassfibre flagpoles in Tidaholm.

Tidaflag flagpoles have a high mechanical strength combined with flexibility, they are maintenance free and have a low weight. The windloads acting on flag and pole are calculated according to EUROCODE E, Windload static action 1991, to ensure strength and stiffness. The calculations include the pole as well as the supporting steelwork of the ground foundation and are valid for all poles 6-12 m mounted at ground level. For flags of extreme size or mounting poles above ground level we can offer extra reinforcement and calculations upon request.

Glassfibre flagpoles are flexible compared to metal or timber poles. Even when bending in a heavy storm they will always return to their original upright position, where flagpoles made from other materials would show permanent deformation.

You can find Tidaflag flagpoles all over the world. They have a worldwide reputation for their know-how and quality.

Today they have dealers in 30 countries and the expansion will continue in the 2000´s.
